Heater & Thermostat

A heater is an object that emits heat or causes another body to achieve a higher temperature. In a household or domestic setting, heaters are usually appliances whose purpose is to generate heating (i.e. warmth). Heaters exists for all states of matter, including solids, liquids and gases.

Hot Runner Coil Heater

As the name indicates, this ia a coil Heater cast in brass having an outer casing of stainless steel. Available with an added feature of built-in thermocouple its applications are similar to coil heaters such as Hot Runner Nozzles, Die Casting Nozzles, Tube Extrusion and pipe forming, but have some advantages over the latter.

Ceramic Band Heater

Band Heater

Mica insulated band heaters are efficient and economical solutions to the heating requirements of many applications. Although their maximum sheath temperature is limited to 900 deg F, with different electrical termination styles, clamping mechanisms, and ability to accommodate holes and cutouts, mica insulated band heaters are successfully used in many applications, but are mostly sought for in the plastics industry.

Cartridge Heater

A cartridge heater is a tube-shaped, heavy-duty, industrial joule heating element (electrical resistance) used in the process heating industry, usually custom manufactured to a specific watt density, based on its intended application.

It may be used to heat any kind of substance or material, such as oil, air, or sugar. However, a common application are plastic pellets, which are melted in order to form molded plastic parts. An example of such a process is the "hot runner" process.

Tubular Heater

Tube Heat’s tubular heaters provide the ideal solution when a low background heat is required. Our tubular heaters are energy efficient which makes them a flexible source of warmth in work and domestic environments. Our tubular heaters are particularly in greenhouses and aviaries, as well as a range ofdomestic and commercial environments for background warmth.

Quartz Tube Heaters

Fast responding and a very efficient source of radiant energy. With heat-up capabilities of 45 to 50 seconds, and complete cool down in approximately 15 seconds, this is an ideal heating device for use in applications where frequent line stoppage occurs where product under the heater could be damaged because of a heater that remains hot after the power is stopped, or on/off cycles are expected or immediate heat-up and cool down is essential.

Cast Heater

Cast aluminum heaters (cast-in) are an essential component for all plastics extrusion machinery. Our extruder barrel & die heaters are made of aluminum or bronze. Stringent machining tolerances on the inside working surface and high quality heating element construction guarantee high performance.

Cast Aluminum (cast-in) Heaters offer a high quality and efficient method of heating and controlling Extruders, Compression Molding Platens, Heat Sealers, Vacuum Forming Platens.

The heat cool capabilities of Cast Aluminum Heaters provide high accuracy temperature control of +/- 2 degrees.
