Energy Saving Lamps

Yenwell T5 Energy Saving Lamps were developed for higher system efficiency and miniaturization. With appropriate luminaire and parabolic reflector design, the T5 lamp offers higher utilization of available light on the working plane. As far as energy saving is concerned, the 28W T5 luminaire consumed only 25W circuit power and achieved a saving of 40%~50% as compared with 36W T8 luminaire with conventional electromagnetic ballast. For fluorescent luminaires with T5 lamps, the most effective means of optical control is parabolic reflection. The parabola is the most commonly used reflector contour. The most important optical property of the parabolic reflector is that if a beam of light is obtained. In practice the ideal line source is difficult to obtain from fluorescent tube and the shape of the distribution curve depends on the size of the source in relation to the focal length and mouth width of the reflector. As the diameter of T5 tube is much smaller than its T8 and T12 counterparts, and is more closer to a
line source, optical control of luminaires with T5 lamps and parabolic reflector can be more precise and efficient.

Easy & Fast Installation
Adopting “Fixture In Fixture” concept, no wiring modification work and no qualified person is required for installation. As the design is created by fitting a T5 fluorescent tube onto an aluminum housing set to form a complete set. Starter is not required and installation is as easy as retrofitting a normal fluorescent tube which achieved less than 30 second.

BENEFITS

Heat generated from ballast in each unit is reduced from 75ºC to approximately 30ºC. ASHRAE state that for every 3kW of electricity saved on lighting and extra 1kW is saved on Air-Conditioning.
By using Yenwell T5 Lamp, reliance on fossil fuels can be minimized thus directly reducing CO2 emissions. On average for every 1kWh of energy produced by a coal power station, 1kg of CO2 is produced. Quick starting, no flicking and comfortable illumination for eyesight.
